Maharani's Bandhej (Bandhani) Sarees

Maharani's Bandhej (also known as Bandhani) is a traditional art form in the Indian states of Rajasthan and Gujrat. The name is derived from the Sanskrit work "Bandh", with literally means "to tie". Bandhani fabric is created by tying the cloth, mostly handloom-weaved, at many places and then dyeing with natural colors to create irresistible design patterns.  Traditionally Sarees created with this art form are considered as very auspicious by Hindus all over India and wear them on festivals like Teez, Karwa Chauth, Diwali and others.

Maharani takes immense pride in identifying these artist families who create these master-pieces in the villages of Rajasthan and Gujrat and source directly from them! Hope you enjoy wearing the fabulous Sarees and they bring peace and happiness in your lives.
