Maharani is a first generation immigrant to the United States and has been on the other side of the coin for more than two decades. She knows first-hand the limited unreasonably high priced choices that are offered to Indian and extended South Asian community in the name of authentic and designer clothing in the stores, both online and brick-and-mortar. 

Any business needs to make a profit to survive and continue to serve the community, but that profit needs to come from a large number of satisfied customers, not from a few paying high prices for clothing that can't afford to or don't have time to travel to India to buy.
